Denise Brodey was named Editor in Chief of Fitness magazine in July 2006. Brodey came to Fitness from More magazine, where she served as Special Projects Editor. Prior to joining Meredith, Brodey was Executive Editor of Shape. Before that, she held the position of Deputy Editor at Glamour since 2001. Brodey has held leading editorial positions at many of the nation’s top women’s magazines. Her experience includes serving as the Fitness and Lifestyle Director of Self magazine and Executive Editor of American Health. She has also held senior level editorial positions at Child and Fitness.
